SOS Services
Our dedicated & responsive services are designed to support young people and young adults through challenging times in their lives. Whether it’s confidence issues, trouble managing emotions or you need crisis intervention, The Village of Positive Outcomes strives to provide every young person with access to a trusted adult and the right support at the right time.
Urgent Support When You Need it Most
Search’n’Rescue
Our organisation provides a specialist search and rescue service for young people who are being held against their will or under duress, including those coerced into selling drugs or engaging in violent crime. When contacted by a professional authority or local authority with the location of the young person, our team—comprised of close protection-trained and SIA-trained operatives—acts promptly to ensure a safe recovery.
Supported by highly trained rescue dogs, we locate and extract the young person from immediate harm and return them safely to the referring authority or organisation. The safety, dignity, and wellbeing of every young person remain our utmost priority.
Our Search’n’Rescue Services Include:
- Rapid-response on-site gang intervention
- Grooming and exploitation recovery
- Trained K9 support for high-risk extractions
- Immediate safeguarding and crisis resolution
- Safe transport and handover to authorities
Bed Chaperone
Our organisation provides a 24-hour Hospital Bed Watch service to support young people admitted to hospital as inpatients. The Bedwatch team is assigned to supervise and monitor the individual for their safety and the safety of others, particularly in situations involving violent, aggressive, or high-risk behaviour.
Our team works collaboratively with hospital staff directly, as clinical demands often prevent medical personnel from being solely responsible for constant supervision. The Bedwatch team remains with the young person at all times to ensure consistent safeguarding and a calm presence throughout their hospital stay.
The Appropriate Adult Service
Our organisation provides a trusted Appropriate Adult service for young people and vulnerable individuals aged 11 to 24, ensuring their rights and welfare are protected during police interviews and legal processes. Available 24 hours a day, our trained and experienced staff offer calm, supportive guidance so that young people understand what is happening, can communicate effectively, and are treated fairly and with respect throughout. We work closely with police, solicitors, and other agencies to ensure that parents and carers have peace of mind, knowing that their child’s best interests are always at the heart of what we do.
