Leon Lawrence is an experienced Youth Justice, Behavioural Intervention, Safeguarding, and Residential Care Professional with over 8 years of experience working across education, youth justice, residential childcare, alternative provision, community outreach, and early intervention services.

Currently studying Health and Social Care at London Metropolitan University, Leon works as an Assistant Manager – Practice & Performance within an Ofsted-regulated children’s home supporting young people aged 11–17. His role focuses on quality assurance, safeguarding oversight, staff development, compliance, practice improvement, performance monitoring, and ensuring positive outcomes for children and young people.

Leon has worked alongside Youth Offending Teams, schools, Pupil Referral Units, local authorities, residential care providers, and community organisations, supporting children and young people affected by behavioural challenges, criminal exploitation, gang involvement, social exclusion, and complex safeguarding concerns.

As the Founder & Operations Director of The Village of Positive Outcomes and its sister organisations, Leon leads the development and delivery of mentoring, intervention, education, community outreach, and support services for children, young people, families, schools, local authorities, and partner agencies.

Leon provides specialist expertise in behavioural intervention, youth violence prevention, gang intervention, child criminal exploitation, safeguarding, residential childcare, risk assessment, service development, staff leadership, quality assurance, multi-agency working, and community-based prevention programmes, helping organisations and young people achieve safer and more positive outcomes.
